A fun reproduction sampler featuring a unique rhyme penned by Isaac Watts in the 1700s that gives all of the zodiac symbols in their order from the Ram (Aries) to Glittering Fish (Pisces)! All done in striking black thread with alphabets and numbers, and lots of movement with swirling bands.
Stitch count: 134 wide by 160 high. Stitches used: Cross stitch, cross stitch over one, and Algerian eyelet stitch.

The model shown is stitched on 40 count Zweigart linen in the color Burch with Splendor Silk in black for the cross stitch and Algerian eyelets and Au Ver a Soie 100/3 silk in Noir for the over one cross stitch. Please use your favorite thread or favorite color!
