Euphrasier Enout 1840 by Shakespeare's Peddler
This was one of my first sampler purchases, and I love it. Euphrasier was only nine years old when she stitched her sampler, which is very Catholic in nature -- it's got a cathedral, a bishop, acolytes, a monstrance, a crozier, and a cross. The verse means "Fortune flies away and science remains."
I stitched the model on Lakeside Linens with silks.
