Anastasie LePouze 1849 by Samplers Forever
I am a sucker for moths and butterflies on a sampler. These were often symbols of the fleeting nature of life. And rebirth. Plus, they're pretty. Shown is the original antique.
I hope everybody had a happy Christmas, whether it was restful, hectic, quiet or noisy. We had a lovely Christmas day in our new home in Pennsylvania, and although I worried it might not "feel" like Christmas, it really did, because we spent it together.
I am just now shutting ordering off on the website for a little while. I haven't fully decided when I'll turn it back on, but will send a newsletter out when it's back up and running. If you placed an order during Christmas week, I will be packing those and sending them out; as usual, tracking numbers will be sent by my website when we make your label.
Although I am taking a little end of year break, I am also working on my releases for Nashville needlework market in March, and I have four retreats and two exclusives set for 2025 as well. Lots to do, but it'll be happy work.
Thank you for giving me the best reason to get up and get going every morning. I truly love my job of supplying wonderful patterns, fabrics, threads and more to the stitching community. I hope for all of you a wonderful new year filled with many happy stitches.
Love - Theresa
